Meet Dr. Veronica Wong (Sugar Land, TX)

Veronica Wong, O.D. received her Doctor of Optometry from the University of the Incarnate Word Rosenberg School of Optometry in 2014 and earned her bachelor’s degree summa cum laude from the University of Houston. Dr. Wong is a licensed optometric glaucoma specialist and a current member of the American Optometric Association, the Texas Optometric Association, and the Harris County Optometric Association. She is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry, an organization dedicated to research and education, and an honor obtained by about only 10% of optometrists.

Dr. Wong believes that vision is the most important sense, and that there is a huge benefit to preventative care. Becoming a primary care eyecare physician provides Dr. Wong with an opportunity to work with patients and their families on the ground level. She is dedicated to helping people see their best so they can explore the world and fulfill their dreams.

Interacting with patients is Dr. Wong’s favorite part of the day. She truly enjoys being a partner in her patients’ well-being by learning their stories and ensuring that their eyes are optimized for each step in life’s journey.
